Our bar soaps are lovingly handmade with great care and thoughtfully crafted to be more than just ordinary soap. Over half of the ingredients we use are fair trade and sustainably sourced, coming from both nearby communities and distant regions around the world.. From the lush Georgia farms where grass-fed cows produce the fat we carefully render into tallow, to the shea trees flourishing in Uganda , every ingredient is chosen with intention.

    Clean Hands, Pure Heart is our commitment to crafting Artisan Home Goods products with integrity—from the ingredients we choose to the hands that help bring them to life. As makers who believe creativity carries responsibility, we are taking intentional steps toward fair-trade sourcing, ethical partnerships, and environmentally conscious practices.

    Right now, about 45% of our soap ingredients are sustainably sourced, and we’re actively working to increase that number. Some of our most meaningful partnerships include:

    • Organic, Fair-Trade Shea Butter from Baraka in Ghana
      Sourced directly from women-led cooperatives, this shea butter supports fair wages, community development, and traditional craftsmanship that has been passed down for generations.

    • Grass-Fed Beef Tallow from Herd + Passel
      A local cattle farmer and producer who prioritizes responsible land stewardship and whole-animal use—allowing us to craft nourishing soaps while reducing waste and investing in our local economy.

    As we grow, we’re pursuing even greater sustainability by exploring fair-trade or responsibly sourced coconut, sunflower, and castor oils to ensure that every ingredient reflects our values: care for people, care for creation, and care for the craft.
